Work Experience

IRI Bentonville, AR

Analyst – Advanced Analytics and Consulting July 2012-Present

Developed and implemented a number of statistical models, including a proprietary

clustering algorithm that leverages IRI’s “big data” assets to provide actionable insights and

drive growth for our clients. In particular, these models use POS sales data to optimize our

retailer client’s on shelf assortment and identify other opportunities for growth.

As I have grown in my position, I have been given the responsibility of innovating new or

improving upon existing analyses to help answer our client’s most pressing questions. This

responsibility requires the ability to understand the intricacies and movements of key retail

categories and, with that knowledge in mind, formulate ways to derive clear action steps for

our clients via data analysis.
