Main Project:

Project Title: “Comparative Performance Analysis of Petrol and LPG Engine” at Greaves

Cotton Limited, Gummidipoondi, Chennai.

Description: The project evaluated an experimental investigation on Liquefied Petroleum Gas

(LPG) as an alternative fuel for single cylinder four-stroke spark ignition engine and compared

its performance with petrol engine. The petrol engine is converted to LPG engine. During

running, the engine is coupled to eddy current dynamometer to measure several engine

performance parameters such as torque, brake power, fuel consumption rate, volumetric

efficiency, brake thermal efficiency.

Mini Project:

Project Title: Design and fabrication of manual paper plate punching machine.

Description: The project deals with the fabrication of paper plate punching machine with the

help of compound dies for deforming and cutting of papers and springs were used to provide

compressive force. Steel frames are used to give support to the entire body.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

Placed Department 1st in 8th sem of BE with 9.25gpa.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

Presented paper titled “Minimization Of Inter laminar Stress In Composite Wind Turbine

Blades” in RDMCE-13 at Vel Tech Multi Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Engineering College.
