I serve as the senior equestrian instructor for this Virginia Equestrian business personally

responsible for twelve (12) students weekly who had multiple levels of ability. Prepare

lessons plans for 12 personal students weekly for clients of multiple levels. These include

clients hoping to compete at the top end of horseback riding to clients with disabilities

including autism, learning disabilities, processing disorders, hearing loss and Multiple

Sclorosis and students varying in ages from 5 to 74. Keep parents informed of monthly

progress and review goals. Maintained a spread sheet format to track health records for

37 horses to include all veterinary and farrier care. Scheduled all vet and farrier

appointments, including treating sick and injured animals. Developed an I-billing system

to enable the farm to do billing and collection via email and direct deposit. This allowed

the farm to be more efficient in keeping monthly budget goals. Prepare a yearly show

calendar for clients involved in exhibiting their horses. Transport clients to these events,

making all accommodation reservations and entries to these events. Assist clients in

purchasing and selling horses. Using various Microsoft software, include movie maker

and picture maker, created movies and pictures to develop sale DVDS and flyers as well

as uploading to social media, such as You Tube, Facebook and sales sites such as Virginia

Equestrian, Equine.com and Dreamhorse.com.

Court Appointed Special Advocate, OCT 1992-

DEC 1993

Served as a volunteer CASA to gather information on children involved in the Court

system to insure that they receive the best outcome in their cases. Coordinate with

parents, relatives, attorneys, medical professionals and many others to inform the judges

what would be in the best interest of the child.

This required 30 hours of training and averaged about 10 hours per week per case.

Monitored cases plans and court orders to see that plans were being followed. Went to

Court and kept the Court informed how the children were progressing after their hearings.

Parent/Team Liaison Cheer Dynasty AUG 2005-

APR 2007

Served as the parent team liaison for Cheer Dynasty All Stars. This job involved

coordinating travel arrangements for 3-7 teams depending on competition locations.

Making both airline and hotel reservations, collecting funds from the teams

representatives and making sure all necessary documents were collected and given to

each team’s coach. Held monthly meetings with the gym and then meet with team

representatives. Served as a chaperone on all trips having responsibility for as many as 8

athletes.

Ombudsman, Department of the Navy for USS Iowa Jima (LPH 2) SEP

1990 – MAY 1991

Served as emergency Ombudsman after original Ombudsman’s husband was killed. This

job involved coordinating many volunteers to assist family members after the tragedy

killed 23 crew members, worked with Navy League to help with paperwork to help with

emergency financial aid, coordinated with Chaplain Corps for funeral assistance and

communicate with Commanding Officer’s wife so that she could communicate with the

ships Commanding Officer, as the ship was still deployed for Desert Storm.

Officials Coordinator/ Seoul Olympics Organizing Committee AUG

1985 – MAY 1988 Seoul, Yongsan, Korea

Provided airline and hotel reservations for IOC (International Olympic

Committee) officiating at the Seoul Asian Games and Seoul Summer Games. Prepared

various receptions for same officials to include site reservations and food arrangements to

include consideration for various cultural needs and requests.

Participated and received official accreditation and licensing for FEI (Federation

Equestrian International), events. Trained Korean and other foreign volunteer officials

for the Seoul Asian Games (SAG) to assist the FEI to supply knowledgeable assistance in

Equestrian sports such as Team/Individual Dressage, Show Jumping and Three Day

Events.
