Patapsco WWTP
Operator/Foreman - As Operator/Foremen, I worked in the
underground segment of the company. My responsibilities
included excavating trenches to accept many different diameters
of ductile pipe, to make the deep excavation safe by use of
trench boxes - sheet pile - steel plates and cribbing, to lay pipe
on grade and backfill with approved fill, special excavation that
accepted large vaults or manholes, rigged and set the vaults or
manholes with excavation or cranes, prepared and submitted
timesheets and safety reports daily as well as the overseeing the
well being of the crew.
2009 - 2011 Alberict Constructors
Arlington WWTP
Foreman - As Foreman, I worked in the underground and
mechanical aspects of the company. My responsibilities included
a lot of new work as well as demo work, oversee subcontractors
doing the underground work to ensure that job was done
correctly and on time as testing their work, responsible for the
rigging and setting of large diameter piping in the under ground
pipe gallery by use of chain falls, moveable gantries, beam
clamps and related demo of various size sluice gates and
installation of new, upgrades to existing clarifies and piping to
new ones, demo and redo aeration tanks with new flow control
valves, bubbler systems and foam collection stations, proper
operation at start up when various upgrades came on line at
plant, troubleshoot problems that arose, final clean-up and
demobilization of site.
2004 - 2007 Pizzagalle Constructors
Salisbury WWTP
Underground/Mechanical Foreman - As
Underground/Mechanical Foreman, my responsibilities included
excavating trenches and excavations for structures, installed
sheet piling and icon boxes at various locations, installed various
large (up to 60 ductile iron piping with my crew which also
included approximately 40 shut downs to tie into or demo old
piping, installation of new valves and gates, safe installation of
piping and valves, responsible for timely installation of all
including materials along with safety, time and daily production
paperwork, oversee safety of my crews, worked closely with
various trade superintendents and field engineers. Job finished
five months ahead of schedule.
