CREATIVE INTEREST AND BACKGROUND:

I was in the real estate and property management industry for a cumulative total of 15 years, and have finally pursued m y

inborn passion in design. The Real Estate market cultivated and nurtured my interest for aesthetic design, as I staged vacant

houses for sale and set up apartment units for rent.

DESIGN PERSONALITY:

My friends and family have always come to me for design advice, and have received generous complements for my fashion

taste as well. I talk furniture, and color is my therapy for dark gloomy days. I have read countless design magazines, and

crazy about pinterest. I am an avid fan of HGTV!

EDUCATION:

I took undergraduate studies in Graphic Design in Santa Monica College in 2000, and have taken Art History, Color Theory,

Fundamentals of Drawing, Design theory, Calligraphy, and Photography.

CERTIFICATION:

I have successfully completed a certification in Home Staging and Redesign from an accredited design institution with a

curriculum focusing on selecting furniture and furnishings within a client’s specified budget, and designing a lay-out that is

coherent with the client’s architectural style, theme and color of the home.

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE IN DESIGN:

I worked as a traffic coordinator for Design Journal (designjournalmag.com), a resource guide to architects and designers .

I established strong relationships with vendors and artists to categorize and choose design trends in Lighting, Accessories,

Color schemes in feature sections. I also assisted in editing company website, and assisted in the marketing and advertising

functions of the company.

I was also an executive/personal assistant to an elite and renowned handbag and accessory designer, Julie Feldman at Julie

Feldman Designs. I performed marketing and advertising functions to expand her target ed national and international

audience, including Canada.

In 2013, I performed administrative and retail duties for Rebound – a Home furnishing consignment store that upcycles

vintage pieces and sells modern and mid-century furniture. I assisted in the company’s marketing efforts in W ayfair, Etsy,

Joss & Main, and One King’s Lane. The owner was also a staging consultant, and I assisted her stage estate sale projects.

In April 2014, I worked on an internship basis with Michelle Minch, the lead designer and owner of Moving Mountains Design
