Co-Envisioned, co-founded and co-created, from a piece of legislation, the
first state backed early stage investment Fund in Texas. Built, directed
and managed all operating functions of the $200M fund with zero operational
budget for first 2 years with staff of 3, an advisory board of 17, 8
regional centers and over 500 volunteers. There has never been a
private/public investment fund for early stage investments created in the

Grew portfolio fund to over 140 early stage technology companies and 24

administrators, angel networks, local officials and chambers to create
local grass roots innovation economies.
? Co- originated and developed a Texas state-wide angel investor portal
that allowed angel investors from different regions across the state for
the purpose of collaborating, syndicating investments, pooling domain
expertise and generating more investment opportunities for the private
sector "angels" to participate in.

recession and very tight State budget.
