I don’t have your forms completed yet for your calls, but I wanted to recognize your calls I listened to. I can tell

you, that at this time I have no suggestions, as both have scored out at 100%.

The empathy and warmth in your tone when assisting our customers is to be commended! This is EXACTLY

what we’re looking for. Every time you asked your customers a question, you immediately followed with “please”.

There was empathy when he mentioned his wife needing a liver transplant.

You were really able to take care of him, and he even mentioned “Finally, something’s going my way” as he was

so relieved we could take care of his issue.

Something else that stood out, was when you were talking with Mr Coffman, and you asked “Mr. Coffman, what

has all transpired since you spoke with Customer Service in September?”

I would like to ask your permission to use this call in future training sessions.

“I worked with Betsy for 5+ years while with Colder Products Company, in both her roles in Customer

Service and also as a colleague in an ERP system selection and implementation team. Betsy was

energetic, confident, detail-oriented and tenacious in the pursuit of her objectives. I found that she

was willing to extend herself to make certain that customers received the proper service and she

worked well with other departments such as shipping, production control and manufacturing to adjust

priorities when needed. She never cried wolf; as a result I could take her at her word. Sales

Managers also sung her praises. She had the valuable trait of being able to accept extreme

aggression without ever personalizing the dispute, always staying focused on the situation at hand -

what does the customer need and when do they need it.

In her role as a colleague on the ERP selection - implementation team, she effectively used her

experience to evaluate products that would do the best job of allowing Colder Products to serve its

customers. She was able to articulate a position, argue for it, and hold her ground, and yet accept

and evaluate new information and change her mind when facts warranted.

I had the pleasure of working for Betsy Benz while working as an account manager for Colder

Products. Betsy was an excellent manger and mentor for me as I learned my new roll. Her

professionalism and skill for resolving situations as they arose were unmatched in her Customer

Service Manager position.

Betsy was a person that could work with many different personalities. Her department was made of a

variety of personnel with different skill levels, and she had to adjust her management style daily to the

person she was working with, and seemingly did it with ease and a cheerful attitude...she was very

inspiring.
