Qualifications/achievements:

5 January 1976- 5 January 1978 Military Training Infantry ( Basics in 3SAI

Battalion in Potchefstroom until April 1976 and then in Infantry School in

Oudtshoorn until 5 January 1978 )

5 June 1978- Start apprenticeship in Pretoria in the Post Office at

Oumashoop until August 1980 when I was transferred to Kimberley and

complete apprenticeship in June 1981.

During my apprenticeship I completed and passed Post Office A, B, and C

courses in air conditioning at Olifantsfontein training centre to become a

qualified air conditioning Technician.

Work as air conditioning technician in Kimberley workshop until December

1989 when I was transferred to the Bloemfontein workshop.

My duties as air conditioning technician were the installation, servicing

and maintenance of window wall and split units. I also do servicing and

maintenance on DX plants, packaged units, ice storage units and chilled

water systems.

In December 1996 I was transferred to the Project Office and become and

worked as Project Manager until January 2003.

As project manager my duties were to oversee that the projects handover to

me and done by outside contractors were done according to specifications

and in specification time.

In January 2003 I was appointed Project Manager to do Technical Baseline

Audits in all the Telkom buildings in the Free State, Northern Cape and the

North Western Province until October 2007.

The Technical Baseline Audits consists of a pre-audit and the audit itself.

During the pre-audit we check to see that all the air conditioners, the

electrical installations, the standby plant and the fire and excess control

are still up to standard and in good working condition and during the audit

itself we are in contact with the control room while they monitor all the

alarms we set up during the audit.

In October 2007 I took a voluntarily package and begin my own business,

Paint Shuttle, as a painting contractor in Bloemfontein. I was running the

paint business until October 2011 when the economy forced me to close the

business.

In October 2011 I was appointed air conditioning technician at Servicos

Atl ntico and start to work for them in Guinea where my duties were to

train the Guinea locals' air conditioning skills in how to install, service

and maintain split units and reefers in containers. In September 2012 I was

transferred to Mosambiek where my duties were the same as it were in

Guinea. I worked in Mosambiek until December 2012 when I lost my work due

to staff retrenchments.

On 6th August 2013 I do and passed my trade test as Refrigeration

Technician in Port Elizabeth at the Industries Education and Training

Institute (PTY) LTD.

Skills and attributes.

I love to work with my hands and am very committed to my work and employer.

I do not mind to work long hours and after hours.

Discipline is a necessity in my working area and safety is number one

priority.

My hobbies are watching sport like rugby, athletics, tennis, cricket and

badminton.

I am still playing badminton to stay fit and healthy and I am an active

blood donor.

I also love to work in the garden and a fanatic to keep my swimming pool

clean.
