. "TORSIONAL VIBRATION OF TURBO GENERATOR SHAFT WITH DISKS"

The main aim of this master thesis is to develop a FE model of the

turbo generator shaft used in thermal power plants and to perform

rotor dynamic analysis using ANSYS. This work can also used to foresee

the opportunity of using ANSYS as a tool for rotor dynamics

calculations and to generate a CAMPBELL diagram which gives a

graphical representation of system frequency versus excitation

frequency as a function of rotational speed.
