Project Description : Belt Conveyor is mechanical conveying equipment to

convey the bulk materials like lime stone, coal, stones, bauxite etc ., f rom one place

to another. The main objective was to design a belt conveyor using empirical

formulas as per industry & Indian Standards. Our team prepared drawings of

conveyor using AutoCAD &modeled critical components in Pro -e where ever

required. We manufactured prototype model of belt conveyor by scaling down the

designed conveyor for conceptual presentation .

Understanding the types of conveying systems and existing system at customer

Conveying variety of materials & its applications

Conveyor selection criteria

Design methods and standards

Designing a belt conveyor for handling lime stone of 150 TPH as required by

customer
