Created and meshed the model in Hypermesh and set up analysis steps in 20 and 140, chose

the appropriate interference to prevent clearance in high temperature.

Simulated the process of fit in Abaqus and plotted the contact pressure and contact force in

axial direction between pulley and bearing to ensure parts would not be damaged.

Design of Two-way Gear Pump DPS Puxuan Automation, 07/13-08/13

Designed the pair of gears, shells and liquid path.

Worked on the seal system (O-ring, filler, mechanical) to prevent the leakage.

Chose appropriate heat treatment process to make material harder.

Design Optimization of Cylindrical Spring Syracuse University, 02/13-04/13

Created mathematic multi-objective model and constraint functions, applied SQP algorithm

and compromise programming in Matlab to obtain Pareto Frontier.

Solved the problem in OptiStruct and compared it with the results obtained in Matlab.

Load Analysis of 3D Weave Ceramic Matrix Composite (Thesis) NUAA, 02/12-05/12

Conducted tensile experiments of material and observed microscopic image of fracture surface.

Created microscopic and macroscopic models of this material in ANSYS

Meshed with tetrahedron element and wrote APDL program to simulate the tensile process for

strength prediction.

Design of Reduction Gearbox NUAA, 02/11-03/11

Determined combination and geometric parameters of gears according to transmission ratio.

Checked the stress of shafts and gears and calculated the output power and efficiency.

Designed the shell of gearbox, bolt connection and lubricants return system.
