Hello,

my name is Franco Risso and I'm interested in be part of your company.

I have worked as web developer (php, mysql, javascript, html/css, etc), since 2008, my last job

was in Hulkshare.com as developer and project manager. I work there completely remote from my

home in Argentina for more than a year.

validate constant values affecting different fields).

- Background in Computer Science, I've done 3 full years of University and I'm self educated.

- Startup methodology: I've read all the Eric Ries series of books, from statistics to UX design.

Also I've read Steve Blank's book and try to implement some of the tools I learn in my projects.

Work experience: I have worked in the first years of my career like freelancer, so I have

worked for several companies in long time relationships and also with final clients

(business owners in general).

Project Manager, Senior PHP developer.

I work here with a large database, and my job in general was define development phases, and the

backend development, specially the MySQL queries, that have to manage up to 1 millon of

queries per minute (and we use memcache and sphinx sometimes to improve performance).

I've also done recommendations system, mostly based on static fields, but we start to build a

neural network that never went throught, but I did read a lot about and learn some really

interesting algorithms about that.

We also did a lot of AB testing here, in general we try different ways of show related tracks, tracks

for a given style, and tracks by user profile.

I've worked with Wordpress, PHP, several frameworks, javascript and lots of projects. I've worked

I have worked mostly with small size projects, however I've done personal projects like

www.reallycoolquotes.com, www.gaypont.com and others not alive now, that manage big datasets

and more interesting programming challenges (gaypont.com was a dating network that use to

hold up to 10.000 users and I have tested some collective intelligence techniques to recommend

possibles matches and we do cause several unions :), but we didn't know how to monetize so it

went down ).
