About Me

I am a technology savvy person. I am looking for a entry level technical position. In my experience, I have repaired and deployed countless computers and laptops, to many satisfied clients. I am a student at Riverside City College studying to get my Computer Science Associates Degree. My current goal is to gain experience as an IT Tech Support or as an IT Network Administrator and to become a Cisco Certified Network Associate.

I am very familiar with Cisco IOS, Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8, and have also used Linux

based operating systems such as Ubuntu, Zorin, Linux puppy, and Linux mint. I have troubleshot

hardware on computer systems such as replacing faulty fans, digitizers, memory, Wi Fi chips & have also troubleshot software problems such as BSOD, missing dll files, slow applications, and removing viruses without wiping the hard drive.

What I have learned from previous work experience is the ability to move fast and efficiently, keeping a sense of urgency and working well with others to satisfy my employer’s needs.

I started off as a dishwasher. I cleaned dishes using a dish washing machine. Within a couple months I was promoted to a cook as a fryer, which is one of the most difficult positions at a restaurant because a fryer is in charge of most of the appetizers. A fryer must also have speed or will otherwise become overwhelmed by all the orders that come in at once. I have recently been promoted to handle the Salad station and was able to learn all of my company’s salad recipes, faster than the amount of time it took many others to learn the recipes. The experience gained from this company has been both challenging, rewarding, and has given me the confidence of being able to learn quickly and move quickly as well.

Waterproof Flooring Specialist Apprentice

I helped repair and upgrade decks and patios to waterproof flooring. I worked under my father, who is an experienced Construction Foreman. I have helped him on and off since I was 12, and still occasionally work with him. We remove old flooring and install waterproof flooring in different layers of material to guarantee durability. I also learned to use many power tools to aid in the deconstruction and construction of flooring.

I did various jobs as a temporary worker. I mainly did a couple of different projects which all came together to make 15 ft. concrete sewer pipes. Such as welding the wire frame, Smoothing out the cement, and removing the wire frame platform from the finished dried cement product using sledgehammers.
