Final year project: Design and Fabrication of hydraulic floor crane
This project deals with lifing of crane while pushing hydraulic cylinder
. It is mainly used for lifting heavy things and transporting them to other places. It uses one or
more simple machine to create mechanical advantage and thus move loads beyond the normal
capability of a human. Cranes are commonly employed in the transport industry for the loading
and unloading of freight, in the construction industry for the movement of materials and in the
manufacturing industry for the assembling of heavy equipment.It has three hydraulic
cylinders,acmotor,tangible frame,steering rod. With the high pressure hydraulic cranes, we are
able to use a fairly light weight system that consumes a relatively small amount of power to move
objects around, and these can actually be hand powered under certain circumstances to achieve the
same results as you would get from a power system, although slightly slower. Hydraulic cranes are
amongst the simplest systems that you can use within any industrial process, and are very easy to
maintain.
Mini project:Design and fabrication of motorized jack
This project deals with lifting and changing tyres in car with the help of dc motor. Motorised screw
jack main structures include a screw jack and a motor. Screw jack includes self-locking acme
threads screw jack, high accuracy ball screw and ball nut screw jack, high speed bevel gear screw
jack. Motor includes high precision servo motor, low rpm gear motor or worm gear speed
reducer.Screw Jacks are the ideal product to push, pull, lift, lower and position loads of anything from a
couple of kilograms to hundreds of tonnes.The need has long existed for an improved portable jack for
automotive vehicles. It is highly desirable that a jack become available that can be operated alternatively
from inside the vehicle or from a location of safety off the road on which the vehicle is located. Such a
jack should desirably be light enough and be compact enough so that it can be stored in an automobile
trunk, can be lifted up and carried by most adults to its position of use, and yet be capable of lifting a
wheel of a 4,000-5,000 pound vehicle off the ground. Further, it should be stable and easily controllable
by a switch so that jacking can be done from a position of safety. It should be easily movable either to a
position underneath the axle of the vehicle or some other reinforced support surface designed to be
engaged by a jack,
