Final Year Project Summary – A heat pipe uses principles of both thermal conductivity and

phase transition to manage the heat transfer between two solid interfaces. A literature survey has

been done to understand working principle of heat pipe, types of heat pipes and the main factors

affecting the performance of heat pipe. The design and development study of heat pipe has been

carried out to fabricate a heat pipe working model for college laboratory demonstration purpose.

The experiments have been carried out to demonstrate proper functionality of heat pipe.

Technology, Solapur.

• 1’st prize in “CAT-MATABILITY” ” National Level Event at Walchand Institute of

Technology, Solapur
