Shift Manager / Maintenance Coordinator / Gate Keeper- Off Shift
• Currently responsible for entire plant off shift operations on third shift for carbon fiber manufacturing, including
chemical furnace, molding/forming, machining, assembly, maintenance, security, and HSE
• Other shift requirements include safety shift start/tier meetings, scheduling, area overtime requirements, coordinating
and help setting up area for PM / routine maintenance and LTT / ECPL for maintenance and engineering projects.
HONEYWELL Specialty Materials Division, Richmond, VA 2010 -
Shift Supervisor / Alternate Maintenance Coordinator / Gate Keeper
• Responsible for plant west side operations on rotating assigned shift, on the daylight schedule Monday through
Friday(8am to 8pm) this includes production from raw material from tankers through all operations on both polymer
resin chemical lines/trains through finished product to pack out into either tankers and or as required gay lord boxes /
super sacks to be loaded onto box trailers or sea bulk containers for overseas shipments
• Other daily daylight requirements included safety shift start meetings, scheduling, area overtime requirements,
coordinating and help setting up area for PM / routine maintenance and LTT / ECPL for maintenance and engineering
projects.
• On the night shifts 8pm to 8am including the weekends 24 hour coverage, responsibilities are expanded to include all
transportation drivers (on and off site), warehouse operations, plant utilities / boiler house, maintenance, production
scheduling, medical, security, and grounds /non production maintenance staff.
• This is a 7 day a week 12 hour rotating shifts, responsible for as few as 12 employees on daylight and as many as 21 on
the off shifts and can vary more depending on operational situations.
ALLIANT TECHSYSTEMS (ATK)Ammunition & Energetics Division, Radford, VA 2008-2010

• Responsible for the purification and pack outside of operation of the Nitrocellulose (NC) area for propellant component of
Production for both military (defense industry) and commercial use. Buildings/Areas included: Tub House, Beater House,
Poacher/Blender House on the purification side, all of these buildings are steam reactor / reaction based processes. On the pack out /
distribution side included are 4026 & 3026 final wringer houses supplying Greenlines, NRE, NG, GDV, Armtec, Cotton Prep, and 3507
Nip Roll centrifuge operation for St Marks. One of four plant personnel trained on new HMI automated deflaker for pulp and cotton
based products for propellant production.
• Other responsibilities include the scheduling of product for the shift for production, chemical blend make ups, personnel
scheduling including needed overtime and unplanned manpower issues, Cotton Prep, Lab truck, shift mechanics and maintenance
personnel for NC area and setting up production support (Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Distribution) as required on the off shifts.
• Responsible for 21 associates spread across the following three schedules, Seven day swing shift, Five days eight hour shifts, and four
days ten hour shifts.
FORD MOTOR COMPANY, Louisville, KY 1998-2008
Supervisor/Team Coordinator 1998-2008
• Responsible for input operations of a Ford Motor Company vehicle paint facility including phosphate cleaning bath, electro coating
bath (ecoat rust protection), vehicle sealing operations and containment, metal repair, fabrication, parts change, electro coating pre
primer prep area, prime spray application, pre enamel prime prep area, and paint shop exit assembly, polish, inspection, protective
coatings, and maintenance.
• Experienced with water-based prime coatings, water-based enamel coatings, and solvent-based clear coatings including GEN 3, 4, and
5 launches and production using Dupont supplied clearcoats.
• Responsible for up to 107 employees across 3 shifts. This is a 3 shift rotating position.
Supervisor, Special Assignments, Project Management (Ford Motor)1998-2000
• Responsible in final assembly for interior and exterior trim, this included electronic components and final trim inspection before
chassis.
• Responsible in frame area for process engineering assignments in launching an added production shift.
• Advisor in pre delivery for internal and external customer satisfaction prior to dealer shipping and incoming warranty concerns
including relaying correct information to responsible departments / engineering.

Petroleum Refinery / Terminal Distribution Lead Utility Night Shift Supervisor
• Responsible for the pipeline product operations coming into and out of the facility, deliveries from this facility through the pipeline to
other companies which included Ashland Oil, Sunoco, Chevron, BP, Shell Oil, Citgo, and the Louisville International Airport.
• Other duties included overseeing the safe loading and unloading of petroleum barges, rail tank cars, and tank delivery trucks, as well as
a daily complete throughput facility analysis reporting and facility maintenance.
• Gauged and inspected petroleum holding tanks.
• This was a midnight shift position. Responsible for 17 employees, including operations, drivers, dispatch, & maintenance
MADISON PRECISION PRODUCTION (MPP), Madison, IN 1988-1994
Team Coordinator / Leader
• Coordinated production operations with other departments to supply Honda Motor Company with engine components.
• Primary experience was with Fanuc model T CNC mills, 700s robots and CMM operations. Also worked with die cast aluminum
operations, roll forming, stamping of small parts for electronic components and machine maintenance.
• This was a 3 shift operation. Responsible for 27 employees.

AGRICULTURE / FARM EXPERIENCE
Spent the first 20 years of my life on a family farm(s), have several years experience with grain, livestock, property management, maintenance

530 small tractors, John Deere 450 crawler, International 450, 550, 656, 756, and 806 tractors, 2 and 4 row John Deere and International

For 7 years I operated a landscaping based business part time including excavating, land clearing, finish and driveway grading, property
maintenance / clean up, installation of new landscape features, grass seeding, and correcting drainage issues. Also have completed work on
installation of new board fencing and repair of damaged fencing.
