Description of the project:

RD engineering is a project to manage Test clusters, which are very important for the component teams to test

their builds before they deploy them into production. If we find any defects in the build, we raise bugs and try to

prevent that in PROD. This project involves Deployment and Monitoring activities on various components such

as UFC, FC, SLB, and RDFE. We also monitor the health status of nodes, Tenants, Clusters, TORs, PDUs and

integration to DCMT depot and we also work on Onboarding clusters.

• As a member of Windows Azure –Cloud Computing Team, managed and maintained nearly 100 test

clusters.

• Supported and helped resolve 10 component team issues on cloud test clusters.

• Regularly followed up with the component teams regarding upgrading cloud cluster issues.

• Processed 25 requests per week such as integration, upgrading the cluster with latest build, maintaining

the test cluster health.

• Regularly followed up with the developers for issues regarding deployments, source code integration

and testing, fixing approximately 20 issues per week.

• Worked closely with Data Center Operation Team in maintaining access permissions on jumpboxes used

to connect to different data centers.

• Deployed approximately 5 latest builds on test clusters every week before they hit the production

environment.
