I have developed my skills in litigation, research and writing

through course work, volunteer activities and work experience. I have

worked for a law firm specializing in litigation. I have also interned at

the public defender office. I researched issues, wrote memoranda, and

assisted attorney in all aspect of their cases. Throughout these

experiences, I learned about organization, strong research, legal writing,

asking questions, and I have developed excellent work ethic.

I also had the opportunity to work at a foreclosure law firm. I was

responsible for researching files and filing all necessary documents in

order to proceed with foreclosure sale. I also completed cancelations and

dismissals for defendants that resolved their foreclosure issues. My time

at this firm allowed me to gain experience and further help to develop my

skills. I am currently in the courtroom on a daily basis handling

foreclosure cases. I have become familiar with hard work, negotiation,

meeting deadlines, and dealing with many responsibilities simultaneously.
