My name is Emily Harris, and from a young age I have always had a passion for the creative

arts, design and photography. Having graduated over a year ago and working for myself I

have learnt many skills in a variety of different areas. However I want to learn more and

therefore I need to be around people who have succeeded to where I wish to be. I am a hard

worker with a desire to be the best I can be and I am prepared to move to go wherever that

may take me. Having such strong passion about where I want to be I believe myself to be a

great candidate for you! Having worked in many areas I have exceptional customer service

skills and the personality to go with it.

2004-2009 Stafford Grammar School

GCSE’S (9)

English, English Lit, Maths, Double award Science, Religious Education, Information Technology,

Design and Technology and Art.

BTEC National Higher Diploma (Photography) – Triple Distinctions

2011-2013 Staffordshire University

Foundation Degree – Digital Media Production Photography Pathway – Graduating with 2:1

Charity Work:

Since taking on my Duke of Edinborough (Both Bronze and Silver achieved) award at school I have

gone on to take part in various charity work. Working alongside Local charities such as the air

ambulance and raising money for local care homes I have participated in Christmas fairs and other

fundraisers singing as part of a choir. Since gaining my qualifications as a photographer I have also

gone on to photograph from a variety of charities, Including the RSPCA and Birmingham Children’s

Hospital (Run 2 Brum). Using my skills to help others.

Extracurricular activities:

I have always had a strong interest in the creative arts, this is where my passion for photography

blossomed. From a young age I took LAMDA (London Academy of Dramatic Arts) Exams along with

Singing Exam, where I achieved continuous Distinctions.

Having being part of an agency when I was younger I have done extra work for TV programmes and

advertising. Such as Coronation street, Cheerio’s, Safeway’s and many more including being on the

set of the film production of ‘Alfie’ and the Pampers baby in 1994.

Working:

Having worked as a waitress for many years through college and university it gave me the skills as

part of a team and with customer services that I will take with me in the rest of my working life. Not

only did I work waiting on, but I also offered my photographic services to help fund my degree.

Including photographing for companies such as Costa Coffee, and doing private events.

I have been self employed working for myself part time for 1 year, where I have been faced with

challenges and developed my customer service skills exceptionally.

Clients including:

Costa Coffee, Triple play ltd., Brocton Hall golf club, The Post House, Bespoke Creations, Lower

Drayton Farm, Hire a princess Ltd., and many more including private clients for events and weddings.

Digital signage creator where I have put both my design and photography skills to use.
