03/2013 – Present Bechtel Construction Watts Bar Unit 2 Completion TVA

Mechanical Field Engineer (FE) for installation and inspection of ASME (Section III and Section XI) and Non ASME

piping, rotating equipment alignment, pipe supports, instrumentation and controls systems in the completion of Watts Bar

Unit 2 for TVA in Spring City, TN.

Selected by Senior Management to perform “constructability walkdowns” to provide constructability and correctness

completeness on new piping work orders released by the Planning group.

Member of the “Project Mechanical Readiness Team” performing initial & final constructability walkdown of (legacy and new)

T 4 work order packages with craft to identify issues (predecessors, successors, material restraints, specialty tools, proposed

schedule durations) and provide solutions. Reviewed work orders having low float, schedule priority and systems/project system

waterfall work orders. Worked closely with schedulers to verify and adjust schedule work order activity logic ties.

Managed work orders utilizing client’s MAXIMO and BSL system. Coordination with Design engineering through the engineering

change documentation process, worked with Authorized Nuclear Inspectors for material separation and work order hold points,

Quality Control, Superintendents, Foremen and craft to support/manage field work activities by performing critical technical

Mechanical/Piping Field Engineer (FE) for installation and inspection of ASME B31.1 piping, pipe supports, heat

exchangers, instrumentation and controls systems in the completion of FPL/NextEra Turkey Point EPU Project “2013

Nuclear Project of the Year”.

civil materials (worked closely with suppliers to resolve design issues)

proposed Engineering Change Packages/Plant Change Modifications.

Worked closely with Bechtel procurement, Expeditors and the Client procurement group to purchase materials and perform

technical bid evaluations to ensure delivery dates supported the project’s schedule

Participated in P&ID System walkdowns with the client, system engineers and design engineers for final system turnover;

identified open items and discrepancies, monitored completion of open items on the punch list and identified systems/components

to be turned over on P&IDs.

Performed In Service Leak Check inspections on the stations Post Maintenance Testing documentation to ensure systems meet

design requirements

Developed a Project Management tracking tool using Microsoft Excel called “Scope Management Spreadsheet” that was utilized

on the CREVS (Control Room Emergency Ventilation System) and SFP (Spent Fuel Pool System) projects this concept was

implemented and used by the Field Engineering Dept.

Monitored the Client’s T Week schedule to ensure that the associated work packages and material aligned with the work schedule

Prepared and Finalized the Service Requisition for the potential “Sub Contractor” solicited for the “Contingency Air Cooled

Chiller” in support of the Spent Fuel Pool project. Point of contact and worked closely with the Contracts, Engineering and all

groups supporting this effort

packages to process for Turnover and worked with the Welding Department to close out weld records.
