PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY

**Tool & Die/Machinist:

I began my machining career in 1993 taking a temporary position at Caterpillar Tractor Company. I began on

Centerless Grinders and worked my way up to the Track Pin Line. A fully automated cell with robotics. There I

Ran Gun Drills, KOYO Centered and Centerless Grinders, Mazak Lathes, and some packing Robots. When the

temp position at Caterpillar ended I worked for Flichbaugh Engineering as a CNC Machinist. This is the company

That began my apprenticeship.

I have been a machinist/toolmaker for 13+ years. I have programmed and operated many different CNC Machines

from Lathes & Grinders to Machining Centers, to Sink & Wire EDM machines. I was very good with G- Code. On all

occasions at Winters Performance Products I wrote the programs for the Okuma Machining Center at the console and

all in G-Code (no conversational programming)

As I advanced in my career, I have been the Manager of a Tool and Die Shop, Designed and built progressive

dies, Run more types and brands of machines that I can even remember. I can machine to tolerances of +/- .0001".

I have developed excellent critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills.

Although I am a Registered Nurse as well as a Journeyman Machinist, I have found that I am happiest in life as a

Machinist/Toolmaker I wish to return to my previous trade, especially since manufacturing is making a

comeback in the USA.

**Registered Nurse:

In my last position I was a staff nurse on the Medical/Surgical Telemetry floor of San Angelo Community

Hospital. I have quickly adapted to the new environment, Learned a new computerized charting system

(MedHost), and developed great rapport with all of the nursing staff. I am respected for my abilities by all, and

on several occasions have been commended by the charge nurse for the relationships that I build with my

patients and the care that I have provided. Other accomplishments I have achieved during my nursing career

include:

1) I have Interviewed numerous CNA's, LPN's and RN's for positions within a facility.

2) I have performed the on-boarding and orientation process of the selected candidates to the facility.

3) I was responsible for maintaining an in depth knowledge of Human Resources Policy and Procedures.

4) I have educated and trained staff to these P & P's and ensure that staff know the process of our

Progressive discipline policy so that there are no surprises should discipline become necessary.

5) I have performed UD screenings of potential EE's and of IW.

6) I have been the educator, safety and workers compensation coordinator and shared the duties of manager of up

to 100 EE's. Ultimately I ensured that the facility and our EE's are performing their daily tasks and duties in

compliance with all State Regulations and with Job Safety as a primary concern.

7) Organized Safety Week for Cumberland Village organizing several outside vendors to come in and perform a

safety presentation including, Fire Dept, Police Dept, Domestic Violence Educator and a Self Defense expert.
