Description : Videoscape Voyager Vantage is the next generation browser based STB software from Cisco. The

product offers service providers the flexibility to create and introduce new web services applications to market quickly

giving them the advantage of service innovation and service velocity. Videoscape Voyager Vantage also offers

opportunities for ecosystem creation through third party application developers. The flagship STB software from CISCO

supports EPG, DVR, muti room DVR, RDVR, SDV, PPV, EAS features.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning and tracking the release activities of RTN.

Working directly with Product Architecture Team to finalize end to end system software Architecture.

Design and development of REST web services framework required for Communication between IP Set top

box Client and G8 Gateway.

End to end design and development of Server Sent Messages (SSE) required for asynchronous

communication between HTTP client (IP Client Set Top Box) and server (G8 Gateway).

Understanding requirements, and participating in ARD (Architectural Requirement Document) reviews, of

MRDVR( Multi Room DVR), RDVR (Remote DVR), Arris VOD (Video On Demand), and Network DVR.

Design and implementation of DVR, MRDVR, RDVR, Arris VoD, and Network DVR feature.

Triage issues reported from SVT (System Verification Team) and provide fixes.

D escription: Flyvo Product was based on WiMax standard. Project involves the design and development of NISU

(Network Interface Switching Unit) board that was used as a gateway between Flyvo’s private network and outside public

network. Project also involves design and development of CPMM (Common Protocol Message Manager) and message

sniffer tools. CPMM used to simulate R6, R8 and other interfaces of WiMax system and was sued for simulate various

WiMax call flows to test Flyvo Base Station. Message sniffer includes design and development of tool to parse various R6,

R8, R3 and R4 messages.

Tracking the progress and quality of the modules.

Understanding complete WiMax Standard.

Requirement gathering, Design and Development NISU2 Switch for Posdata WiMax Base Station.

Design and development of GRE (Generic Routing Encapsulation), IPC (Interprocess Communication)
