TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

* Project Description : Personally o versaw CAD modeling of machine frame from design phase to

construction o f a proof-of-concept ‘green’ exercise machine for Introduction to Engineering Design . Machine frame

was designed with modularity in mind in order to be adapted to new design changes. Concept was proven

s uccessful.

* Project Description: Capstone team project for General Electric involving subscale testing of airfoils for

p urposes of correlation to full-scale airfoils as well as investigating the effects of low Reynolds numbers on sub -

scale airfoils. Assisted in the design and redesign (CAD) of multiple subsystems including airfoil test rig, various

adapters and measurement systems for lift and drag under wind tunnel conditions. A dapter redesign p roduced a

p rojected weight decrease o f ~70% due to 3D printing techniques and applicable steel reinforcements.
