M.TECH : “LVRT Capability of Wind Power Generation for DFIG Wind

Turbine System”

The variable speed Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) wind turbine system is

very sensitive to voltage dip due to fault. The Low Voltage Ride Through (LVRT)

capability of the system is offered by the application of a Dynamic Voltage Restorer

(DVR) under voltagedip conditions is effective compared to conventional crowbar

protection used.

B.E : “Automatic Power Factor Corrector Using PIC Micro Controller”

It is the technique of improving the low power factor to unity which caused by

undesirable effects of electrical loads.It improves the stability and efficiency of

transmission network and there by reduces the customer charges.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

One of the organizing committee member in NCRAEEE-2013, a national level

conference held at UBDT College of Engineering, Davangere.
