ACADEMIC ProjectS:

Main Project of B. E :

Project Title: Substation Automation and Innovative Solutions using

SCADA.

Description: The ultimate aim of the project was to reduce human

resource in the substation field while switching the terminals from one

area to other. So SCADA was used in the project. It is supervisory control

and data acquisition System. SCADA helped to monitor the electrical

parameters like voltage, current, frequency and power factor of a

substation automatically in the input side of station . Another concept of

power theft also controlled in this project. If the particular area or home

is included in power thet the current the load becomes inbalance in the

monitor and indicated red. So it can be identified in the monitor and can

break the supply to them.

Main Project of Diploma:

Project Title: Zigee Based Wireless Indicator and Power Deprivation

Guage

Description: The main aim of the project was to transmit the

reading to the EB office from the home. Here wireless indicator is nothing

but the consumer premises EB meter. There the reading every month was

transferred to the EB office for billing process. So the project had a

wireless module called zigbee. It is a transceiver acts as both transmitter

and receiver. Here also the power theft concept is used.
