“MICROCONTROLLER BASED HOME BILLING AND TAX COLLECTING SYSTEM”

Project Work

Electric power companies are now-a-days adopting some advanced systems such as

computer aided monitoring control and management of electric power, so that it can

provide better services to electric consumers.

This project results an approach to automate the electricity billing system. The main

aim of our project is to pay/collecting the bills like electric, water and taxes by their

residing areas. By this the time and complexity of the bill collector & the payer can be

reduced.

My responsibility is to design of digital electric meter using advanced Micro-

controller and convert the KEB unit used by customer into respective Kw.

Accuracy reading and availability of 24*7 services, Avoiding illegal usage and easy

way to pay the bill from home itself and also increases economic growth of the

country.

In our project we can implement more feature other than home billing like Water

usage billing,Telephone & Other Muncipal Tax billing.
