Project 1: Smart Grid Gateway (SGG) Adapters:

Smart Grid Gateway provides the link between mission-critical systems and the equipment that powers them,

managing the data flows from back office systems to smart devices. The product acts as a single point of device

control, enabling the consistent handling of device data across the enterprise. The project was done as co-

development collaboration between Wipro Technologies and Oracle Corporation.

Responsibilities:

1. Analysing and reviewing functional requirements

4. Managing a team of 7 developers including technical mentoring and performance review.

I had successfully delivered 4 SGG adapters as part of this project.

I was a developer for building the Java based API and framework on Unified User Management (UUM) which allows

access to a common, shared user database to heterogeneous applications in the e-commerce space.

Later we worked to build a Web Service layer over UUM (named as WSUUM) to allow non-Java clients (like .Net

clients) to interact with UUM.

Project 2: CCMS

Consolidated Certificate Management System (CCMS) is an application to manage client certificates. This was a

legacy application which was built with Corba and we replaced it with Web Services.

Advanced Passenger Valuation is a system that generates domestic base fares dynamically by days from departure,

closely resembling fares available for customers to purchase.

Project 2: Club Systems:

The Project deals with developing software for four travel clubs based on a common platform and enrolling

customers in different clubs based on certain offer promotions.

Project 3: Apex Assignment Management (AAM):

AAM application was developed for scheduling of aircraft cleaning and tracking of the cleaning operations for United

Airlines.

Project 5: Cyclops:

At SFO, component and engine shop storekeepers used obsolete and unsupported RF Dolphin scanners to replenish

expense bins of aircraft parts. This project was to replace these obsolete devices with mobile computing handheld

scanners and expand the program to UAL hubs connected to ten additional line stations.
