1.Project title: DYNAMIC MACHANICAL ANANLYSIS OF NATURAL FIBRE REINFORCED

THERMO

COMPOSITES.

Description: Created a natural composite from two different

natural fibres which are easily available,

economical and completely degradable and

poses no harm to the environment. Tested the Dynamic

mechanical analysis proved its stability against the varying

stresses .Good replacement for the existing metallic

bodies in the automotive industry .

Project Feature: Composite of material, Moulding process, Mechanical

testing and Demonstration

2. Project title: OPTIMIZATION OF TURBINE HEAT RATE IN THERMAL POWER PLANT

Description: Identified and devised the strategy to improve the

availability factor of the existing

thermal power generating units is about 10%,

by optimizing heat rate of power plant equipments. Assessing

and improving the heat rate will improve the generation without

any investment.

INFLATOR

Description : Designed and developed user friendly and economical

inflator, using human power,

Chain drive with slider crank mechanism. The main

advantages are that many tyres

could be inflated at the same time without external

energy source.
