Title : Enhancing the productivity in press line by strengthening STR and generation of CADE sheet

Company : Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Limited, Oragadam

Group : 3 members

Description:

Major defects are identified and solutions are suggested to increase STR (straight through ratio)

Generated a sheet called CADE (common access data entry) to avoid data mismatch

Introduced visual management technique in logistics area

2. Design and fabrication project

Title : Thermal coating in 2 stroke petrol engine to increase the performance

Group : 3 members

Description:

Thermal coating is given on the piston crown and the cylinder head with aluminium titanate

It acts as a barrier and retains the outgoing heat within the cylinder

It increases the rate of combustion so that performance is increased

ACHIEVEMENTS

•Presented a paper on Experimental analysis on thermal coating in two stroke petrol engine in the international

conference held in Ponjesly College of Engineering, Nagercoil on 07-03-2014

• Secured first rank in the 2nd semester in my department

• Done well in academics and also participated in various competitions and received the best performing student of

the year award for the year 2008 & 2009 during my schooling
