CITY OF PASADENA

Management Analyst / 2002 – 2014

Successfully administered the City of Pasadena’s Rideshare program. Upon taking charge of

program, branded program with a new logo; revamped all paper materials and forms; developed

user manual; Built program’s website; established a “Green” team of 25 employees as program’s

assistants; created all marketing material.

Increased van pool from 2 to 9 vehicles – a 350% improvement – in a quarter the average

arrangement time

Program saw a 27% enhancement in Average Vehicle Ridership, surpassing state mandate by

34%. This resulted in significant traffic reduction and air quality improvement

Implemented an interactive online survey increasing response rate from 68 to 94% – a 53%

improvement.

Subsequently receiving awards for “Outstanding Marketing Program,” “Best Overall Program,”

and “Top Honors in 2013” presented by LA Metro.

Led the Transportation Management Association composed of 52 regulated sites and

organizations. Built cooperation and collaboration which helped these entities to be successful in

their compliance work with the City and Air Pollution Agency (SAQMD).
