Once a month meet with Land Planner's, Architects, Engineers, General Public for New

Project Intake that's being developed in unincorporated PBC for Board of County

Commissioner Approval, enter all pertinent information from submittal into a computer

database, upload documents (site plans, surveys,elevations, etc.) from a CD into computer

database so that various county agencies can review projects for compliance with the

Unified Land Development Code (ULDC) regulations, run reports for Zoning Director and

for County Agencies. Distribute projects to staff, assist zoning staff with research. Create

public files for new projects, create labels for public files on new projects, assist with filing

as needed.

Set up for Public Hearing Meetings held by Zoning Division, pull up site plans, survey's

architectural elevations on laptop to show on large projector screen for attendants at the

Meeting. Meet with Land Planners, Architects, Engineers' and General Public for re-

submittal requests, access applicable fees. Process fee estimates for new projects and

refunds. Process bulk mailing for Courtesy Notices that are sent to the general public within

500 feet of proposed projects to inform them of the proposed development, assist secretaries

on an as needed basis with Public Hearing Meetings held before the Board of County

Commissioner. Responsible for researching exhibit numbers for Final Site Plan Approval's,

stamping final approved Site Plans electronically in AutoCAD,( DWF) format with approval

information, convert approved plans to (PDF) format e-mail approved plans along with

result letter to agents/owners, run a report of all approvals, place approved plans in computer

directory, notify IT Department to post to zoning website. Review Plats for compliance with

the Zoning and Land Development Code.

Ability to read, surveys; architectural and civil plans. Review commercial building permits

for compliance with the Unified Land Development Code, as well as, development

conditions of approval placed on by the Board of County Commissioners and other

Government Agencies. Review drawings for site design, circulation, building foundations,

floor plans, section elevations, landscape/ vegetative requirements of the Zoning

Code .Perform site visits on various projects that I am assigned. Handle initial problems and

complaints regarding permit applications in consultation with supervisor. Type permit review

comments into a database and e-mail to owner/applicant, answer inquiries by phone or in

person regarding zoning and site planning. Review all revisions to permits to ensure

comments have been addressed. Process security bonds for tower permits that are permitted

within PBC. Liaison with the Building Division, helping Building Technicians with zoning

related questions regarding permit review processes. Work in an on-call setting several times

a month assisting the (General Public, Government Agencies, Realtors, Architects, Engineers

and land Planners) with zoning code related questions and ordinances in person and over the

phone, research zoning code for business tax receipt sign off. Cover receptionist desk when

short staffed.
