Job Profile : Quality Assurance & Control Department

Job Responsibility:

1. Prepare the Project Quality Plan (PQP), Quality Manual (QM), Method

Statement and ITP's for the project.

2. Prepare the WPS, PQR and weld map as per the Project specification and

drawing.

3. Inspection carried out for the Incoming materials, to check the visual,

dimensions.

4. Review the Mill Test Certificate as per the Project specification and

codes and standards.

5. Allocate the Material identification number (Traceability no) as per the

client requirement.

6. Arrange/offer the Receiving material inspection to the client and get

the clearance from the client for the further process.

7. Prepare the Receiving inspection report and submit to the client.

8. Arrange and coordinate the third party material testing if required.

9. Check the Fit up dimension inspection as per the latest approved

drawing.

10. Monitoring Welding activities as per WPS.

11. Review the welding rods and welding consumable Batch Certificate (BC).

12. Witness of welder qualification test (WQT) and procedure qualification

test.

13. Monitoring the consumable storage, handling, packing and drying

temperature as per approved procedure.

14. Monitoring/Review the Electrode Backing register as on daily basis.

15. Monitoring Pre heat, Inter pass temperature and inter pass cleaning as

per WPS.

16. Visual inspection carried out the welded joint to check the weld size,

Porosity, undercut, lack of fusion, under fill, mechanical damage and

compare the code it is allowable or repaired or rejected.

17. Arrange/offer the Weld visual inspection to client.

18. Prepare the weld visual report and submit to the client.

19. Preparation of joints for NDE as per required Inspection Class.

20. Offering the joints for NDE Inspection and organizing the NDE Team.

21. Review the RT film and submit to client as on daily basis.

22. Conduct the Tool box talk to welder to educate them.

23. To check the overall final dimensional inspection including Bend,

Mechanical damage and etc.

24. Arrange/ offer the Final Dimensional inspection to client.

25. Prepare the Final Dimensional Inspection and submit to the client.

26. Monitoring the Weather conditions and give the clearance to Blasting

activities.

27. After Blasting to check the random weld visual.

28. Check the Blasting profile with using the Profile cage as per the

project requirement.

29. Check the Painting WFT and DFT as per the project requirement.

30. To make the Overall Quality document (Dossier) for the job's and submit

to the client prior to start the Delivery.
