PROJECT DETAILS:

Mini project: Design and fabrication of PORTABLE POWER SCREW JACK.

Description: A screw jack is a mechanical device which is used to

lift heavy loads. We fabricated a working model of a motorized screw jack

consisting of a bevel gear, wiper motor, and a battery power source which

can easily lift heavy loads by the press of a switch and thereby reducing

human effort.

Main project: Implementation of 5S and quality control in a small scale

industry.

Description: The project is to implement 5S and to control quality in

KV Transmission Systems. We implemented 5S in the industry because of

which the process time per unit has been reduced and productivity

increased considerably. Statistical Process Control (a method of quality

control) is applied to monitor and control the processes. Pareto diagram,

Cause & Effect diagram and Control Charts are the tools we used for

quality control thus reducing the number of rejected parts per production

unit by bringing them under control and tolerance limit.

. Secured school 2nd rank in tenth board examination and maths subject

topper in the same.
