Submitted a Theoretical Project on "Extraction of Silica

from Paddy Husk Ash by Processing 100 TPD of Husk." Under the Guidance of

Mrs E.Kavitha. This Project is focused on extraction of Silica from Burnt

Paddy Husk using CO2 Precipitation Method, Where Burnt paddy husk treated

with Sodium Hydroxide at 95oC, is purged with Carbon-di-Oxide in a

Precipitator to form Silica and Sodium Carbonate, Thus formed Silica is

Separated and sent to different industries(Rubber,plastic,adsorbents
