Synopsis FEAP is a single tier application based on tightly coupled

architecture, developed using MFCOBOL on RHEL and based on ISAM file

which splits UI layer in Java and BL layer to be retained in Cobol

Synopsis Northwestern Mutual has about 100+ Visual Basic (VB) applications that

are currently in either VB5 or VB6. Microsoft has already announced the

release of Windows Vista and adds to the problem as the current

applications may not work with Vista. So these applications need to be

migrated to current, supported versions of technology in order to

ensure continued and uninterrupted use both internally and externally.

As a result of VB to Java conversion, Communication between Front end

and M/F will be changed. Now Java will communicate to M/F using MQ

Series and M/F will receive and respond through MQ Series.

Title

Synopsis The 2001 CSO Portfolio project will deliver a competitive set of

traditional portfolio life insurance products that are on the 2001 CSO

(CIF) is the central repository of all JPMChase customers. CIF system

uses VSAM files for storing customer data. CIF++ project is a

conversion project to change existing CIF system from VSAM to DB2

application programs to access DB2 instead of VSAM.
