CEO, Founder, Chairman of the Board 2008-Present

Rent Advisor is a leading review and reputation management platform for the apartment

industry. The company was sold to Apartment List in September 2013.

• Raised $7M in strategic and venture funding in an extremely challenging economic

environment.

• Generated nearly $10M in revenue through the sale of reputation management and lead

generation products to more than 6,000 customers.

• Managed all financial aspects of the business including budgeting, forecasting,

accounting, Board reporting, billing, collections, cash management, banking relationships,

and tax preparation.

• Developed and optimized business model to meet evolving demands of consumers and

clients, resulting in the largest and most innovative reputation management platform in the

apartment industry.

• Negotiated the sale of the business with multiple prospective buyers.

PRIMEDIA Atlanta, GA

Primedia was a publicly traded Fortune 1000 company specializing in advertising based 1997-2007

print and digital publications. The company was sold to TPG in 2011 for $525M, based

largely on the strength of the Interactive businesses. It is now called Rent Path.

President, Interactive and M&A 2005-2007

The Interactive divisions of Primedia included ApartmentGuide.com, Rentals.com,

RentClicks.com, NewHomeGuide.com, AmericanHomeGuides.com, AutoGuide.com,

RentalHouses.com, and MovingResourceGuide.com.

• Responsible for P&L, strategy, Board reporting, and operation of two internet divisions as

well as all mergers and acquisitions for the company. Managed sales, product, marketing,

strategy, technology, customer service, and finance for these divisions, which had more

than 200 employees.

• Exceeded Revenue and EBITDA targets by 15-30% every year.

• Grew online revenue to $65M with over 50% margin.

• Led development of online strategy for used car business and launched AutoGuide.com in

August 2005.

• Acquired 3 companies between Jan ’06 and Jan ’07 for $25M as part of expansion

strategy for the single unit rental market. Integrated the operations to form the

Rentals.com division, whose value 18 months after the first acquisition was $60-90 million.

Rentals.com was the fastest growing business unit in the company, with 99% revenue

growth in 2006.

• Built traffic to the online businesses to more than 6M unique users, nearly 1M leads, and

nearly 100M page views monthly.

• Grew ApartmentGuide.com to over 20,000 advertisers, and Rentals.com to

over 45,000 advertisers monthly.

• Raised $50M in funding from KKR (majority shareholder in Primedia) in 1999 to launch

ApartmentGuide.com business. Exceeded 5 year financial plan originally presented to the

Board.
