Planning and Talent Acquisition Manager (National & International) -

Responsible for the Talent Acquisition Department (Full Cycle of

Recruitment) for both Corporate office and field locations (stores and

warehouse). This includes 130 stores in Houston, Oklahoma City, Dallas, Rio

Valley and San Antonio, as well at the distribution center in Houston. I

built the Recruiting and Training Department from scratch. At that time, I

was in charge of the recruiting activities for all the Corporate positions,

both executive and administrative. For the field locations, I am recruiting

for several positions as store managers, assistant managers, store level

positions such as bakers, butchers, grocery and produce leads for the US

market,and recently for our new operations in Mexico, I am leading the

recruiting of several service and managerial positions. My efforts have

resulted in substantial savings for Progreso by eliminating external

recruiting. I'm managing a team of 2 people and my responsibilities

include: networking, develop and implement staffing/recruiting plans, and

leading all the activities, communication and execution of the Talent

Acquisition projects . As Talent Acquisition Manager I am in charge of the

Branding of La Michoacana at the University level, having developed our

recognition at Harvard, Wharton, Kellogg, Texas A&M, Rice University among

other schools. Recruiting for Distribution Center positions (sales reps,

positions and staff positions as well.

Recruiting and Training Manager - I developed the Training Program for

field management, including the training manual and several courses such as

Field I9 Completion, Orientation, and Interviewing Techniques for Managers.

I also designed the Mentor Program, the Development Program and the Trainee

Program. I designed and implemented the Employee of the Month award, the

background check procedures and the Internal Development Program (IDP) in

order to select internal talent from inside of the stores to create a

pipeline of managers and store managers.
