September 2013 - January 2014 Provider Educator - Moffitt Cancer Center

Analyze provider need for education and train in classroom and at elbow use

of EMR and updates (including Dragon). Preparing for CPOE by project

testing and base component testing; system testing; regression testing

performance testing; privacy and security testing and internal and external

testing were accomplished. Helped establish 360 review for after

implementation.

. 2013 CHS project - EDIS Project Management Educator and Clinical

Educator. Worked for both CHS and MEDHOST for the first seven

months of this year on contract basis. Created and entered data

for build while building consensus with site partners. Created

dictionaries for sites and alias files in EDIS. Conducted

Detailed analysis of learner needs; current EMR packages used by local

industry and creation of scenarios and learning materials based on

analysis. One course developed on HIM workflow describing the

of four months with Web based training, training alerts, scripting and

people. One Customer Service Manager with 14 direct reports listed

within my scope of control as well as a small call center. I had P & L

responsibility and was in charge of development of personnel by way of

set up this one doctor professional firm from all contracts with

insurance providers to reciprocal privileges at hospitals. CMS

certification. Use of EPIC modules in practice. I coded and filed all

insurance claims as well as provided any necessary follow up for

insurance claims. Transcription equipment used daily with Dragon

products. I handled all bookkeeping, payroll and intake from patients.
