PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Production

Manage and operate radar technical tasks on-site, including running and

overseeing daily radar diagnostics, performing radar calibration, making

weekly Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) measurements, performing test

missions, conducting ANASIM/DIGISIM tests, providing technical

hardware/software support and troubleshooting that supports the Warfighter.

Responsible for the health and status of the system to ensure system

provides consistent availability. Supervise Engineering Change Notice (ECN)

implementation. Completed mission test definition/planning/prep/execution,

to include loading and validating new mission profiles/software releases

Provide engineering support for Configuration Management (CM) for hardware

and software. Establish data collection/reduction/analysis requirements and

procedures for the radar system.

Supervised the efforts of ten (10) Sailors in the maintenance and repair of

two (2), AN/USM-636 CASS Stations, Aps-115 Radar and AN/APG-65 components.

Managed, maintained, and repaired over 1500 electronic circuits and

components level devices on APG-65 radar system, radio frequency electronic

test equipment, digital data and navigation computers decreasing department

back log by 50%- efforts led to the selection as the FRC MA Patuxent (PAX)

River "Shop Of The Month"

Administered a 95% maintenance department providing an all-time low of 13

electronic asset repair backlog.

Scheduling

Coordinated production schedules, material needs, and workers' shifts to

meet and exceed customers' deadlines. Performed scheduled and unscheduled

maintenance, including on-line calibration/certification including

diagnostic troubleshooting, in-depth maintenance, and software analysis.

Quality Control

Managed manufacturing of product from the "cradle to the grave" stages of

production. Earned reputation for commitment to Quality Control improvement

by routinely and proactively implementing new procedures to improve

efficiency and reduce waste costs. Assisted in the creation of RF

Hazard/Keep-Out Zones (KOZs). Orchestrated the development and

FBX-T System Operator's Manual (TM FBX-T-10-1), Operating Instructions,

Procedures, and Work Packages and suggested modifications as appropriate.

Responsible for consistently evaluating the adequacy and technical content

of test plans, safety plans, and standard operating procedures; recommended

modifications as appropriate. Ensured compliance with all QA and Automated

Logistics Control System (ALCS) reporting requirements associated with

providing accurate and complete data in a timely manner.

Personnel Supervision, and Training

Supervised 13 technicians in the intermediate level maintenance of Radar

Communication Weapons Systems test station

Directed the administrative and production efforts of 13 Sailor in the

test, troubleshooting and repair of airborne avionics systems. Assist in

the certification of production personnel, investigated trouble areas and

provided recommendation for corrective actions. Investigated hazard areas

and assisted supervisors in preparation of any discrepancy reports

Evaluated production personnel performance while working on electronic

equipment.

Supervised and directed fifteen (15) technicians performing testing,

troubleshooting and repair of various F/A-18 (FLIR) Forward Looking

Infrared and F-14D Infrared Search and Track (IRST) components.

Performed organizational and intermediate level maintenance on the Advance

Targeting Forward Looking Infrared (ATFLIR)

Maintained and repaired electronic communication systems and in flight

navigation and detection systems on aircraft.

Responsible for bench testing of components of and maintained radar

systems, radar, and tactical displays. IFF/SIF equipment, Doppler
