Resume:

To Whom it May Concern:

My name is Luis Bauza and I am very interested in the Case Manager position. I am Trilingual in English, Spanish and French. I have a Bachelor's degree and hands on experience in Case managing. I have worked with the mentally and physically challenged at Adults Protective Services. At A.P.S. I was an evictions case manager which entailed advocating for those whom were being evicted from their house or apt. I would assess and investigate fraudulent family and non family members that may have been the reason why our client's were being evicted. I would accompany client's to housing court and speak to Lawyers and Marshals to diminish posted evictions and thus save these client's homes. I was also the Liaison to the Hoarding department at A.P.S. where I assisted those individuals who had a hoarding problem by persuading them to depart from accumulated "valuables" that were fire hazards and have been threatened by eviction. I would assist individuals and families with assisted living, psychiatric care, and government benefits like food stamps, meals on wheels and drug rehabilitation services. I took care of 60 to 80 case loads where I would visit clients once a month or more if needed. I would input all my data into the CIMS and FACTORS program where it would be read by the city and state of New York. I enjoy helping these under privileged population whom many times have ceased trusting any city employees because of rape and abuse from others in the community. This same population in return have opened their doors and arms to our services at A.P.S. and have been acting community members in our city. Kevin Andino who works for your establishment told me about the great position and knows I'm a hard worker. I have known Mr. Andino since 1985 and we have been good friends ever since. I was born in Manhattan, raised on Long Island and have been in the city since 1985 after graduating from Brentwood High School. I welcome this opportunity with open arms in order to make our city a safe haven for those who live here and with the ambition to assist those in need.

I may be contacted via email at acfb85@r.postjobfree.com or by cell 321-***-****. I live on Grand St. in the East Village by the Lower East Side, China Town and Little Italy so I have access to all MTA transportation as I know the city very well.

Sincerely, Luis Bauza.
