Job Duties

Demonstrating positive customer service, have computer skills, diverse groups of patients and co-

workers. Work and follow the written and oral instructions under the supervision of nursing staff –

RN/LVN ability to communicate with patients and significant others on an effective mature and caring

manner. Take vital signs, height, weight, input, output, collect specimens report, and record and changes

of patient’s conditions. Assist total care and ambulate patients, caring bed side manner, to provide basic

care such as bathing, nail care, dressing, grooming, one on one sitter, assist with range of motion, their

mobility turning and repositioning. Attend to the Psyche patients to treatment areas, electronic medical

record charting, catheter care – cleaning, emptying bag, stormy/change/clean bag. Transfer from and to

bed, use of Hoyer lift, side rails, wheel chair assistants, Gurney, oxygen tanks, IV poles, make bed

occupied and unoccupied, tolerance for secretions, strong orders, potential exposure to disease and

environmental conditions.

Qualification

Current California Certification as CNA/HHA current CPR / BLS American heart association, First Aid,

High School diploma, computer skills, electronic charting, Hospice care, Respite care, one on one sitter,

Rehab care, acute care, post-acute care Skilled Nursing, Home and assisted living, Mobility Tech, Med

Tech, patient tech, central supplies and also have current vaccine record such as PPD, Hepatitis A,

Hepatitis B, and MMR. I also have working knowledge of medical terminology, health care practice and

understanding of universal precautions.
