Daniel Erasmo Zubillaga's accomplishments as a highly skilled Manager, Network Specialist and Embedded Linux Architect encompass international experience designing, developing and supporting IT and telecommunication systems. Highly motivated, customer and objective oriented, with strong communication and team collaboration skills. With 20+ years of experience in several Telecom and IT positions including pre and postsales support jobs, technical staff management, and product and solutions developing. After working with small system integrators in his natal Venezuela, Mr. Zubillaga start a successful professional career in Alcatel (today Alcatel-Lucent) where he plays different positions. Starting in the internal IT department and ending as the Technical services manager of the company, going through local and regional positions helping to design, build and maintain the first ISP networks in Venezuela and working on multiple networking and infrastructure projects in LATAM with main ISPs and Telcos in the region.

After Alcatel Mr. Zubillaga accepts a position as the Operations and Support manager of Conectium Limited, pioneer company in providing Multimedia Mobile application for Carriers and Telcos in LATAM. During his time In Conectium Mr. Zubillaga had the opportunity to solidify with knowledge in Linux and Open Source application platforms.

Then Mr. Zubillaga starts a productive entrepreneur path founding and working on several start-ups companies such as Codexware, Urbalink and Bitrail in the US. In Bitrail he was the main inventor an architect of the bitOS, an embedded Linux based operating System for networking applications. The bitOS have been adopted by multiple companies such as CeladonReef and EdgeCommunications, through software distribution and licensing agreements. Mr. Zubillaga have also been deeply involved with many of the licensees and integrators of the bitOS technology, holding different positions and roles within those companies, and helping with the successful technical and commercial implementation of the Operating system in different environments and applications.
