suppliers, and to gather basic information on sub suppliers and their capabilities. Track major components

• Developed a system for tracking HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generators) and their sub components through
the engineering phase, including drawing exchange and information research, then through manufacturing testing
and on to shipment & receipt at destination.
• Traveled extensively domestically & internationally to factories to provide vendor surveillance to confirm that
material supply needs were being met and the factory had the correct equipment and manpower to accomplish
the work.
• Assisted in negotiating aspects of the “Boiler” contracts to enforce the need for accurate progress reporting and to
ensure the contact information to allow for contacting the 2nd and 3rd layer sub suppliers to assure that they are
aware of and are willing and able to meet the requirements of the Purchase Order.
• Provided instruction and training for other expediters to assure they could use the same tools, and that they were
all cross trained to provide support for each other.

• Provide material tracking for projects outside U.S. borders. Confirmed arrival at export packing facility, then
through customs. Tracked ocean freight vessels as well as airfreight shipments to confirm delivery on site.
