Hydrocarbon Controls Practices (HCP) is an ExxonMobil practice to manage and regulate controlled

measurements for all pipeline products and chemicals. In most cases, these guidelines are stricter than local

Regulatory requirements.

In this role, I led the audit preparation effort for my department. The audit was completed last month with an

excellent outcome.

Implemented the use of new repair history database. The database is used by the technicians to document

all their repairs and job history.

Continue calibration record reviews and check individual equipment compliance file to ensure complete

documentation for the next audit cycle.

Continuous monitoring of Document Control and practices.

Analyzer Specialist

ExxonMobil Refinery - Torrance, CA - April 2011 to April 2013

Worked with the analyzer technicians to provide technical support and troubleshooting guidance for the on-

line analyzers in the Refinery. As a specialist, I was responsible to understand how the work was completed

in my section and helped develop and drive efficiencies to ensure that repairs were being made correctly and

in a reasonable amount of time.

Continuous effort to meet the requirements of different regulatory agencies, such as EPA, AQMD, and LACSD.

Revised and evaluated the procedures when necessary. Evaluated the existing preventative maintenance

(PM) program and optimized the frequency and type of PM's which brought $80,000/year efficiency.

Coordinated and scheduled vendor training for the technicians to enhance their troubleshooting skills.

QA Laboratory First Line Supervisor/Waste Water lab Director

ExxonMobil Refinery - Torrance, CA - November 2007 to April 2011

Supervised 17 laboratory technicians and responsible for the safety of the work group to assure maintenance

of an excellent safety record. Daily evaluations of work environment for any potential safety hazards and

mitigate any safety issues in a timely manner. Monitored sample handling and labeling closely on daily basis.

Implemented special tagging system in order to identify unusual samples. This technique eliminated the

possibility of potential fire at the lab due to atypical sample conditions.

Improved Final Product Certification turnaround time by almost 45% in the first year of supervisory, by 62%

in 2009 and maintained at that rate for the entire time period.

Increased Laboratory productivity by 14% during the first year of supervisory, by 15% in 2009 and maintained

at that level for the entire time period.

Evaluated results submitted to regulatory agencies such as AQMD and EPA.

Improved Laboratory Quality System. Updated and maintained Laboratory Procedures to meet the Company's

Quality Practices and Guidelines (QP&G). One of the routine responsibilities includes continuous evaluation of

Laboratory Test Procedures to assure compliance with American Standard Test Method (ASTM) requirements.

Prepared the lab for the QP&G and Controls Audit by auditing laboratory logbooks, verifying data traceability,

verifying all the test methods and their sources, evaluating Test Method Assessments, evaluating the Quality

Control standards and by following several other required assessments.

GC hardware problems and developed methods for specialized non routine analysis. Expertise in "detailed

hydrocarbon analysis" (DHA) by GC.

As the Waste Water Lab Director, evaluated Environmental Resource Associate's (ERA's) Proficiency

Testing Study results. Responsible for renewing proficiency on NPDES permit and renewal of Environmental

Laboratory Accreditation Program (ELAP) certification. Reviewed and approved the Water Lab QA plan,

SOP's, corrective action reports and reported results.

Lead a team of chemists to set up the Quality Control samples and Quality Control charts in the new
