Liberty USO is a chartered affiliate of World USO, a 501 C-3 nonprofit, with a general service area (GSA)

consisting of the state of Pennsylvania and southern New Jersey. Serving nine military bases and over

twenty National Guard Armories and Reserve Readiness Centers within the GSA.

BOARD CHAIRMAN

Responsible for the oversight, development and governance of the board of directors. Works closely

with the CEO to provide support that ensure programs and initiatives are executed effectively in the

best interest of service members and their families.

Provided leadership to the board and the Strategic Planning Committee to work together to develop

and execute a three year strategic plan that meets the changing needs of military service members

and their families.

65,000 members of our military were supported by Liberty USO staff or volunteers at Joint Base McGuire,

Dix and Lakehurst, either deploying to war or returning home. Feedback resulted in over 90% favorable

At Philadelphia International airport 78,000 visitors (service members and families) travel to and from

their deployment overseas. At the USO lounge they are provided with comfort, care, and support.

Resulted in a satisfaction rating of 98%.

Planned and coordinated the most productive Gala in the 72 year history of Liberty USO. The 2013 Gala

yielded $338,918 of revenue, 63% over 2012 performance, and a profit of $236,916 which is an increase
