Dear Recruiting Manager,
I am a seasoned MBA-performance driven professional with a track record to
deliver successful results in high pressure environments. My experience
spans a variety of organisations, from private to publicly held
organisations, to government agencies, and from local to country-wide
companies, to global conglomerates, working directly with front-line staff,
through to senior executive leadership.
My background includes education in three separate degrees; an MBA, BSc.
Information Management Systems, and BSc. Biology. In addition to the
diverse formal education, I have accumulated senior level Project/Program
Management in several organisations in client-facing as well as internal
roles. Currently at Siemens Canada, I am the Country Project Manager
overseeing the integration program of two business units in Canada, as part
of a global restructuring, with direct reporting to HQ in Germany, regional
leadership in the USA, and Canadian leadership. I have spent time at
Longview Solutions, implementing their proprietary CPM solutions with
strategic clients across North America. At UHN, one of Canada's largest
hospitals, I worked with a hospital partnership spanning the entire GTA
leading several implementations, procurements, and strategic integrations
for many of the partners, and dealing with many levels dealing with front-
line staff to the CEO and CFO on a regular basis. While at Accenture, a
leading global consulting firm, I have worked on a strategic province-wide
initiative addressing one of the major government concerns regarding
population health and performance measurement, and I also worked a post-
merger implementation following an international acquisition involving an
offshore leading mining company and a Canadian-based mine. I have been
involved with several initiatives from large-scale, enterprise-wide and
province-wide implementations, to procurements, to third-party vendor
transitions, to mergers and acquisitions, and global restructuring
programs. My personal attributes include stakeholder management, strong
analytical, problem solving and communication expertise as well as sound
decision making and troubleshooting skills.
Having a diverse background, skillset, and experiences, I believe I am
ideally suited for this position.
I am certain I could make significant contributions to the organization. I
welcome the opportunity to meet with you to discuss my experience and
skills in more detail.
Thank you for your consideration. I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Masroor Ahmed
