Mammoet Western Canada: Managed all projects in the Fort McMurray Region
for Mammoet Western Canada. Reporting to the Board of Management, and the
Managing Director for Mammoet I managed all aspects of site work including
financial reporting, tendering and estimating and direct management of each
of the heavy industrial sites for both new construction and Maintenance
agreements (MSA).
Safway Services Canada: Managed the efforts of more than 1000 employees on
four sites in a heavy industrial setting with full P&L and budgetary
responsibility. Oversaw tendering and estimating functions for the Northern
Alberta Region as well as active contract management on multiple sites.
Increased revenue by 30% over a one year period. Reduced Accident and
incident frequencies to world class standards.
Latham International: Organized and Directed project teams as well as
operations staff in the setup of a new production facility in Montreal.
Responsible for seven production facilities in Ontario and Quebec. Had full
P&L and budgetary responsibilities for the Canadian operations with 275
employees. Instituted Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Manufacturing Excellence and
Value Stream Mapping initiatives at all levels of the operations.
Janus Flooring: Planned and moved the equipment from two operating plants
into a third larger facility. Purchased and installed capital equipment.
Hired and trained 45 new employees. Trained personnel to follow new SOP's.
Increased average production from 12,000 sq. ft./day to 20,000 sq.ft./day.
Implemented a staff evaluation program. Instituted and trained maintenance
staff to follow a PM program. Lowered consumable costs by 35%.
Breakwater Tunisia SA: Trained local senior staff to assume responsibility
of this world class project. Oversaw the transfer of technology and the
installation of capital equipment to bring this project on line 3 months
prior to target date and 1.5 million under budget. Wrote and oversaw the
implementation of S.O.P's.
