Essence Cellcom Pvt. Ltd is a vendor company of ECI Telecom for installation and

commissioning of ECI Multiplexers (XDM & BG Family) & troubleshooting with ECI

Network Equipment’s.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of various concepts of SDH and ECI equipment’s like, XDM-

100/300/900/400/500/1000/2000 and BG-40/20/30/64.

• Commissioning of different types of Equipment’s (XDM-

50/100/300/400/500/1000/2000, BG-20, BG-40, BG-30 & BG-64(Latest Release)

• Commissioning of ECI equipment’s in various sites of Services Providers like

BHARTI,VODAFONE, BSNL, IDEA, BTSOL,MTNL.

• Up gradation of Software versions in MUXES used in Network.

Fault Detection and Rectification of ECI

• Testing of Multiplexer at different STM levels. Testing includes from Tx power,Rx

power, overload of various OTR on different levels, SIM and SAM modules on VC-4,

VC-12 levels etc alarms handling etc.

• Testing of Multiplexer through BER Meter, Power Meter and Analyzer (ANT-20, MTS-

• 8000,MTS-6000, ONT-50,OFA, Light Wave and SUNSET).

• Muxs.

• Initial Testing of Parameters like Tx/Rx Optical Power,Operation & Support and

Linking Up with Uploading in NMS.

• Handling of various equipment’s e.g. Multiplexer at STM-1, 4, 16,64 etc. levels on

SDH (Synchronous Digital Hierarchy).

Fiber, Job Responsibility

• Splicing of fiber transmission

• Maintenance of 250 km OFC in patna intercity as well as NLD OFC Network.

• Ensuring daily monitoring OFC route .

• Restoration of site isolated due to fiber cut / Transmission issues.

• Rectification of Low Rx Issues.

• Replacement of SFP/OTR/MUX card for restoration of sites.

• Application of OTDR, LS/PM,Road meter/cable locater to rectify OFC issues.

• Liaoning with vendors,contracture & authorities like NH,PMC for route work

activity. And other operation like Idea, TTSL to restore fiber within MTTR .

• Alarm monitoring, planning and configure the OFC Network.
