advertising agency. Main point of contact for account services, creative, operations, tech enablement and finance

departments for recruitment, employee relations, compensation/benefits administration, leadership development, and

performance management. Managed a team of four HR professionals.

• Reviewed and updated all HR policies and programs, resulting in better equity and employee satisfaction between

departments.

• Created and delivered “Culture Activation Meetings” as well as led action planning process in response to 2013

employee engagement survey.

Human Resources Director/Sr. Business Partner

contractors in North America, Europe and Asia for a $160 million international technical consulting division of Volt

Information Sciences. Primary point of contact across multiple departments including sales, marketing,

accounting/finance, facilities, IT, and service delivery. Provided HR strategic HR consultation for business leaders

including COO, executive leadership team, directors and managers. Managed a team of five HR professionals with full

responsibility for creating and managing to a strategic and operational plan and budget.

• Created and lead a program for employee referrals for rapid ramp-up and hiring of 350 employees resulting in

reduced expenses of over $360,000 in a three month time frame.

• Developed new bonus program tied to measurable results, resulting in greater focus on increasing profit, decreasing

expenses and increased project renewals.

• Created measurement process to determine departmental alignment to the company’s critical to business factors

• Created Circle of Excellence recognition program resulting in consistent acknowledgement and reward program for

Human Resources Manager

• Report up to the VP of HR supporting up to 1000 employees for a NW Grocery Wholesaler across multiple

departments including sales, procurement, accounting/finance and warehouse operations. Main point of contact for

business leaders including all VP’s, Directors, Managers and all staff employees. Managed a team of three with full

responsibility for managing to a strategic plan in order to ensure HR policies and practices support the company culture

as well as FMLA administration, Recruitment, Affirmative Action Plan, and EEO Reporting.

• Created and facilitated management training program. In first full year, trained 90 employees for 22 training hours

each over a six month period. Turnover percent reduced from 18.11% to 9.72% for the first year. In second year, trained

372 employees for a total of over 185 training hours. Turnover reduced from 9.72 to 5.83.

• Developed new full time and temporary staffing procedures resulting in recruiting expenses by 30% and 40%

respectively over the previous year.

• Sole negotiator for 2007 UFCW Meat Cutters Union labor agreement, resulting in reducing health and welfare

expense by 15% and overall department expenses by 12.7% for the life of the three year contract. Main point of contact

for employee grievance administration resulting in more consistent management practices and reduced grievances.

• Created succession planning process to develop and promote internal employee growth and development.

• Wrote and communicated Performance Planning and Review process; resulting in 99% of eligible employees

receiving a yearly performance reviews.

• 100% success rate in resolving EEOC complaints resulting in all complaints being dismissed by the EEOC.

Resulting cost savings could be measured in the hundreds of thousands of dollars in attorney’s fees and settlement

charges.
