Production Control / Purchasing Specialist

November 2012- September 2014, DTR Industries, Inc, Mosheim, TN

Purchasing, planning and forecasting over 150 components from 34 local suppliers

for production of raw materials in our DTR Mexico plant. Planning of daily

production of Finished Goods to meet customer’s requirements, daily inventory

monitoring. Communicate with customer’s who will purchase our Finished Goods.

Arrange and monitor logistics between DTR TN and DTR Mexico.

Purchasing, planning and forecasting components from local suppliers, as well as

chemicals from overseas suppliers for the Urethane department. Daily inventory

monitoring as production planning to meet our customer’s requirements.

Purchasing, planning and forecasting over 3000 components, chemicals, and pass

through finished goods from 12 overseas suppliers for the DTR TN, DTR TAZ, DTR

Mexico plants. Monitor daily production, inventories to meet customer’s

requirements. Arrange delivery schedule of overseas containers. Communicate

with customer’s who will purchase our Finished Goods and pass through parts.

Purchase newly launched parts and components from overseas and local

suppliers.

Arrange Logistics for import and export shipments, as well as data entry.
